Cast in bronze, the figure depicts a youthful Buddhist monk seated in a poised, contemplative attitude upon a rounded rectangular plinth. The monk is shown kneeling with legs folded beneath the body, the hands resting naturally at either side. Traces of red and gilt pigment remain on the scalp, suggesting former polychrome decoration.

The sculpture exhibits a rich dark brown patina with areas of wear, oxidation, and surface accretions consistent with age and devotional handling. The stylized physiognomy, elongated proportions, and distinctive seated posture are characteristic of Burmese Buddhist devotional bronzes.
